Treatment?
Mild cases can be treated by softening the area with baby oil, and brushing the area with a soft baby brush. Follow this with a wash with baby shampoo and a good rinse with water. Do not leave oil or lotions on as this can worsen the condition.
For sever cases carefully wash with a non-prescription dandruff shampoo (that contains selenium sulfide or zinc pyritione) every other day. Watch for irritation how ever and discontinue its use if this becomes apparent. Do not get this shampoo into the babies' eyes.
